Michael Klim, OAM
Michael Klim, Olympic Gold Medallist and World Champion swimmer has experienced firsthand the challenges of living with Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP). His journey highlights the significant barriers faced by individuals with mobility limitations, and the vital role that accessible housing plays in promoting independence, safety, and a sense of belonging.
As our Brand Ambassador, Michael is passionate about raising awareness of the benefits of thoughtfully designed SDA homes—and the transformative impact that inclusive, purpose-built housing can have on people’s lives.
The KLIM Foundation has been established to shed light on Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy (CIDP) and provide much needed information and everyday support for sufferers, and ultimately champion finding a therapeutic solution through funding medical research and trials.
